Superhero

Hello World,
This has nothing to do with Batman nor Superman. This has nothing to do with any of the Michael’s (Jordan, Jackson, or Tyson) in entertainment. This blog post has everything to do with you, you who’s reading this right now. This is not for you to think of who your favorite super hero is, but why aren’t YOU a superhero? Don’t go thinking I expect you to have super powers or do things that aren’t humanly possible. We should be a superhero in our communities, homes, and schools. We should be super hero’s for our friends, parents, family, co-workers and most importantly our CHILDREN. How many of you can ask your children whom they admire or “look up to” and the person that they acknowledge is you? The sad part is that you wouldn’t even care or have a second thought about that person not being you.

Why are you not angry or at least jealous about you not being the choice? Why would you be fine with someone other than yourself having such a great impact on your child? Do you know why most children don’t regard their parents as their superhero? Your children and others know that you haven’t been pursuing your dreams, expressing your passions, living life to the fullest, and being fearless. I know being a superhero is scary but why not you? Being a superhero does come with great responsibility but that is just life in itself. Actors, Actresses, Athletes, nor Comic book characters, interact with your child as often as you do and if they are, WHERE ARE YOU? If you have the opportunity to influence, inspire and motivate anyone it should start with your children.

Being an example of a superhero should come before the words. “Do as I say and not as I do” should never come out of your mouth to anyone as advice in life. It is never too late to work on yourself and put your past behind you to be that superhero example. I ask that you are a superhero for others because of what a superhero embodies. A Superhero help others without wanting or expecting acknowledgement from the public, they receive no currency for their actions, they are extremely sacrificial of their time, and the passion for what they’re doing drives them to keep going. I am not saying as a superhero that you have to be perfect because there is no such thing at all, but you can still try to be more than just a body that takes up space in this enormous world.

I beg of you to put on your cape and or mask and be that example for all but especially your children. This means, go and be what you want to be, live your passion in life, never settle, never quit, live YOUR reality, never let anyone tell you what is possible, challenge yourself and your thoughts, and do it without fear. A superhero in the comic book world lives on forever and never die. The character batman has been played by many actors over many years. Your character also can be played by many others for years coming.

I ask you to stop living day by day and not putting your dreams and goals in the forefront. Your powers will be revealed once you start the pursuit for your dreams and goals. Your passion will come pouring out along with your dedication. Never settle or be comfortable with where you are if you have greater expectations in life. We don’t live forever but why not be “Batman” or “Superman” now and then let others play the role once you move on. I am discovering my powers every day and you should as well.

Pursuit

Pursuit
I wanted to start with the definition of pursuit, so that the understanding of what I will be writing about is set from the start. My pursuit is for the betterment of life and everything in it. I want all to be GREAT in their own rights. I want total love for all living things in this universe and my pursuit starts here with my small blog that I hope can touch the masses. I want all to know that this understanding of what my pursuit is did not happen overnight, but when the discovery happened I felt fulfilled in just knowing my pursuit (PURPOSE) and that I could start my journey at the age of 30. I am so sorry to tell most of the people that are reading this that going to work, feeding your children, going to church, taking vacations, and just EXISTING is not your pursuit. Those things should not be your purpose nor your pursuit. We all have an agenda and reason for being here in this life and in this world. You taking the time to find what your pursuit is, is key to living your life to its fullest potential.

Why would you just want to live then die and not be in heavy pursuit of a goal or dream? I beg you all to take time for yourself and this means being SELFISH enough to not worry or concern yourself with friends, family, or worldly things. Those drives to and from work, weekends doing lawn work, home after work on the sofa are all therapeutic times for you to think of your pursuit. Unfortunately once the pursuit is found you then have to pursue it as if your life depended on it. I say that to say that your life does depend on your pursuit, because without it you aren’t fulfilled, happy, grateful, or living at all. I know we all aren’t going to be huge iconic figures that helps millions but a small impact can go a long way. You would be surprised how that conversation, volunteer work, and many other things that you think aren’t big will go on and on to help thousands of people. What you may say or do may inspire someone else to do as you have displayed to them. Remove that fear of failure or even success from your mind and get to your pursuit and want it as bad as you want to breathe.

Living the only life that you have in a safety zone is not going to help you grow and evolve which is inevitable. Change is beautiful, and in your pursuit you will change, along with your surroundings as well. I want you to try these few things to find your pursuit and continue throughout your pursuit. Write down or take notes in your phone of what your passion in life is or what makes you extremely happy. You then have to make that the home screen of your phone and laptop. This will forever remind you of what you want and keep you on pace to attain what you are pursuing.
