Life
"Only you can define life for you" Ron.
Dear America,
I wanted to write this letter to you, because of the effect that the election has had on Americans. Donald J. Trump is now President of the Unites States of America. That last statement is hard to swallow for many different reasons and I understand all of them. He has said many questionable things and as President of the United States, the things he has said are not acceptable for that position. I understand the rebellion you have against him, but I think we are aiming to high on the food chain. Donald Trump is not only empowered by money but also other elected officials that you have empowered in your community, city, and states. Have we looked there first and if you have what is the plan? I honestly feel as if the politics in America aren’t the issue. This issue starts in homes and communities with “family and friends”. The things that Donald Trump has said have hurt many people and has angered many more. The question I want to ask America is, have you never heard this talk before? I am very sure that what Donald Trump has said has been said by someone that you know or love in your lifetime. Why is his accountability so much greater than the person that said it feet or even inches from you? You would rather march and fight for this public figure and not your own household or community. I am sure some of the individuals do hold others that are close in relation to them to a very high standard, but not all of them. That statement is obviously true or Trump wouldn’t have been voted in by the votes that mattered. You can’t hold the President to a higher standard than those that you have a relationship. This education and standard of behavior must be set in the homes and communities that you live in. Start with conversations and exposure to different cultures and see how much different we can become. Obama was a great example of what America wants to represent. It is up to you to keep that with you and deliver that message from his election date and forward. Minority America must understand that everything will be a bit more tough for you than for white Americans. The effort and desire must be greater to get where you want in this world, not just America. America was built from minority blood, sweat, and tears. This does not mean that the blood, sweat, and tears should disappear over time and now “WHITE Privilege” is upon us ALL. You should work twice as hard to make it in this life and be grateful for your journey. White Privilege is for white Americans. If you want more privileges, create your own damn privileges and standards of living. Stop complaining, stop moaning, and remove the damn fear. The accountability starts with you, and not Donald Trump. When you stop complaining and “Do Shit” then his presidency has little to no effect on you, your friends, and family. All we want to do is point the fucking finger and blame someone for our life’s deficiencies and inequalities. Your effort or lack thereof is the reason you are in fear of Donald Trump. Whatever he makes difficult I will work harder to overcome or help change it. Let’s be excited about the possible change that will spark effort that you didn’t know even existed within yourself. Life is a fight and the obstacles are always going to be throw at you but your character is exposed based on your reaction to the obstacle. Embrace the change rather good or bad and make the necessary adjustment needed to survive. Nothing in life is fucking easy and or stays the same forever. God Bless America and the entire WORLD. All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything.
